Ray Tracer
Based on the curse "Rendering Algorithm" at university of Bern this ray tracer was written as an excersice. It implements some basic approaches:
- Path Tracing
- Bidirection Path Tracing
- Different BRDF (Diffuse, Mirror, Glossy, Phong)
- Texturemap, Normalmap, Specularmap, Environmentmap
- Transparent objects (Slick's apporximation, Beer's low)
- Maya GE2 Importer
- Kd-Tree acceleration
- Supersampling
- Progressive Photomapping
Todo (Missing importants):
- Torrance-Sparrow (& diffuse) for adv. specular materials
